Currently, NOLA Green Roots’ network of community gardens includes:
| Mid City Community Garden (MCCG) | In 2009, Mid City Community Garden became the first community garden developed by NOLA Green Roots. The garden features raised beds, a greenhouse and chicken coop, and it is also one of the locations in which our compost is made. Since its inception Members of the Mid City Community Garden have enjoyed a variety of herbs, fruits, and vegetables grown here. The garden is located across the street from the NOLA Green Roots Main Office and Specialty Store.

| Wise Words Community Garden (WWCG)
|
Wise Words was developed by NOLA Green Roots in 2010 with the concept of being not only a place to grow fresh fruits and vegetables but also a place to find art developed by local artists. Members of Wise Words Community Garden enjoy the park-like atmosphere. The garden features raised beds, a gazebo, chicken coop, benches, and a cooking deck, which is used for cooking demonstrations.

| Ninth Ward Community Garden
|
Built in 2010, the Ninth Ward Community Garden provides a place where residents of the community can find fresh fruits and vegetables at a reasonable cost. There, residents can also learn how to grow food sustainably. The Ninth Ward Community Garden features raised beds and a lovely outdoor seating area where residents can enjoy spending time getting to know each other.

| Our Kids’ Village
|
In 2011, NOLA Green Roots developed Our Kids’ Village, which is a community garden designed for kids in pre-school to 5th grade. Our Kids’ Village provides a fun place for kids to learn all about science including growing fruits and vegetables using all-natural products, raising farm animals, worms and other insects and composting. Parents enjoy spending quality time in the garden with their kids who are guaranteed to have a great time!
